No response this morning from mouse click. Pressing the power button brought the usual initial sounds until the chime which then continued every 3 - 4 seconds. What now???!!!

Turns out I recently replaced the factory RAM with 8gb of PNY. It has functioned well for about a month, allowing a VM to run proprietary software without crashing. Back to square one, I guess. Thanks for the help
27" iMac will not start. At power sticks in a continual chime.
