I want to sell my late 2009 imac because i want to update to a more faster passed Imac. I am about to start college and am on S.S.D so I am trying to find any easy way I can do this.

Haven't seen anything about Apple trade in policy on iMacs, but you could stop at an Apple retail store and talk to the people and see if they have a trade in program.

Yes, you go to the web site and begin the paperwork, once you have filled out all the pertinent information it will give you a number. At that point you can proceed or just exit the site.
