I am aving trouble importing songs from CDs. I completed the process as instructed - using the "import this CD" button (I have done this many times successfully).
The import process ran OK. When the Import process completed, I looked in my music Library and the songs were not there.
I repeated the process - same result. Nothing in my music library.
What should I do?

I know this question has already been resolved, but perhaps this will help others?
I had the exact same problem - 4 CDs imported successfully, but only the first 5 tracks of the first CD showed up. When I searched the other CDs in library, they showed up in the search bar but when I clicked on them, nothing happened. All tracks would show up and play in 'recently added' playlist but were somehow invisible in the library. So, I deleted 3 old CDs from the library I never listen to and hey presto, the new ones all showed up! It's as if the library had run out of room....Good luck everyone! 🙂
I have a similar issue.
I imported several CD's, and synced them with my iPhone 5C.
They worked fine.
Now, months later, they do not appear in my iTunes Libary.
They show on the iPhone, but are grayed out, and will not play.
If I re-imported them from CD, and re-sync they will play, but they show up twice.
I have the latest iTunes and IOS loaded
