Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

QuickTime Player can't save.

I have a movie recorded from WoW which is H.264 and AAC. I tried to trim it in QT Player and save it.

Two problems. One, there's no option to save it in the original format. Two, trying to save it as 720p, it craps out and says "The operation is not supported for this media."

What the ****?

I've just tried editing a short screen recording to be faced with the same problem. Apprently there's a bug which won't let you export a movie with more than two clips. Looks like we'll just have to wait for Apple to sort this one out although it does appear to have been around for a very long time.

Fortunately I've still got a copy of QuickTime Pro 7 which still works with Lion. Others may not be so fortunate.

Come on Apple!

QuickTime Player can't save.
