iBooks Author: scrollable text field?

Is it possible to have scrollable text fields in iBooks Author? I need this for a book of poetry fixed in landscape mode where an image that sets the mood for the poem is on the left and the text of the poem is on the right. If the poem is too long, it gets cut off. It would be better for the reader to be able to scroll to see the rest of the poem than to suffer a page break.

So, is it possible to have scrolling text fields and, if so, how do I accomplish that?
