Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I drag a photo into Pages from iPhoto and try to apply instant alpha to it. After a slight move of the colour spot in an area, the application always quits. It automatically sends a report to Apple, and I can reopen the app. But it keeps doing the same thing.
Is there any way to avoid this problem please?

I never had that problem. Is it a large image? in Mb that is? Do you have enough Ram on the computer? Informations on your system would help.
You can happily trash plists all day long, the software will just create new ones based on what your current settings are.

so what can i do about it. pages quits as soon as alpha enters the scene
Rachel, a couple of thingsI tried...do one small modifcation at a time, then save that file and open again. Try to keep process simple at each step.
Also, I realised I was using an old version of Pages, albeit with updates. We have the latest on the other computer, but I hven't tried instant alpha on that yet. Sorry, not much help. Good luck. Keith
