Why won't my cropped photos show the way I cropped them in my emails or on Facebook? I can see the cropped and saved picture, but upon email or uploads- its the original photo showing not the one I see in "Photos"

I am having this issue as well. I noticed it with Pinterest. Go into the app, add a pin from-->Camera Roll. and after I did, all my edited pictures would load as their originals. Found a way around this, by holding down on the picture inside Camera Roll, then choosing to add to Pinterest. BUT

When I transfer my photos from the iPhone through the USP cable to my desktop, open folder to view items, and then move them all, all it does it move over the unedited originals! Seriously. This is ridiculous. This should not be happening. And its been an issue i can see for years, over many phones, and many have this issue. it needs to be looked into.

You are using the wrong tools to import photos. The edits are stored in a "sidecar" file with the same name as the image, but type .aae. If you import using Windows Explorer it does not know about the .aae files, and only imports the original, unedited image. You need to import using a photo editing program on your computer, such as Google Picasa, Microsoft Photo, Photoshop Elements, or even the built in Camera and Scanner wizard. This approach saves the original images, so you can create multiple edits of the same image but without losing the master copy. But it requires more modern tools than the 15 year old Windows Explorer.
