My ipad2 screen goes black
Goes black in which app(s) ? Is it still black ? Have you tried a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
It goes black? And then what happens? What app are you in, or is it all apps? Are you actively working at the time or just have an app open?
It's either in safari or mail, then I press the bottom button and I start safari again
I have this with my ipad 3... not very often but sometimes in games or just safari and app store my screen went black but still responds to the home button mostly within 15 seconds...
I have changed the brightness to 50% and it seems to be less now, still not good for a tablet of 600 euro's
