cracked screen

I have been hearing SO many different things about how verizon helps to replace your broken Iphone.

I had verizon insurance and they NEVER EVER once mentioned anything about "apple care" insurance. They just asked if I wanted Verizon insurance to cover any damages, I said yes and had been paying for a couple months until I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. I took it back to the store with a cracked screen and they sent me away because they told me I did not have Apple Insurance. I had never even heard of it before and all they said was "well the lady who sold you the phone should have told you, but she no longer works here so there is nothing we can do"

I was very mad.

Two days ago my brother went into the same verizon store looking for a new phone as they tried to push and push the Iphone on him. He said he did not want it because he was not happy with the insurance . The man at verizon said that mostly everythign is covered. My brother told them about my situation and my cracked screen and how they had sent me away- he said they should have never done that and could have easily replaced my iphone for 129$ which i gladly would have paid.

I am contemplating going back to the store to try again. CLEARLY all the employees are on different pages about what insurance is covered by verizon and what isnt.

Also- my friend took hers in with a broken power button- which mine now has and they replaced hers for free with no problem.

WHAT THE HECK????!!!!
