    Hello everyone!

My book is a free version! Anyone knows how long it will take to be listed?

    Thank you

Free or paid...it will take some time.  As you can see there are approvals between 2 weeks to months on difference threads.

    We are all waiting...:)

i'm at 14 days now -- and nothing.

i know this stuff takes time, but when you read on the itunes connect site that if your book isn't up in 10 days, contact them -- i do/have -- three times -- and no response at all. look, if it takes them 28 days to approve a book, fine -- just don't tout the 10 day turnaround. not impressed at all with how ibooks author or the entire itunes conect porcesses are "working". suggestion for apple: charge users a $10 fee for priority approval. as snail pace-slow as this process if becoming, i can't imagine any user not gladly paying -- to prevent falling into limbo status.

14 days for me. I contacted the iTunes staff and was met with a message saying "Due to a high volume of requests...your request may not be responeded to...." Or something like that. FAQs state that you should see a yellow "pending" light when you submit your book. Currently mine has a red light with a "Not on 1 store" status. When I click "more info" it says it's awaiting quality assurance clearance.

It's a paid book. Its frustrating. I'd like to see a return on my ISBN purchase LOL

I did not receive this - is it good or bad news?

Anyway, I got 11 books uploaded, 1 got approved on 11th days, and the rest have been waiting for 2-3 weeks now.

The last title I had in limbo went live last night, I wish I would have marked the inital upload date but I am thinking it took just over thirty days to be aproved. In addition it was 25 days "after" fixing the "unknown" issue.

Its called Phalaenopsis Culture Plus if you would like to have a look.

One of my books are in the itunes library on Feb 22, 2012. I guess I overlooked one of them.

I just took a chance and looked in my account.  did not get an email.

    Giants & Dwarfs

    Tushar N. Dadarwala

Not sure how to link to it to post on Social Media sites.  Any suggestions?

    After the book is published.

I go to the "Rights and Pricing" section

Under Status, it is red "status error".  any idea what that means?

The book appears in the store when I do a search.  but not sure what the status error means.

I occasionally saw these when the system is slow - it just can't show the status of green or red light.

    Nothing to worry about.

    30 days!

My 10 uploaded books are 3 weeks right now... so tired of waiting. Apple rains on the enthusiasm I have on iBooks Author.

Just learned I went from two reasons for not being on store to one: "Unknown Issue. Due to an unknown issue, your content is not on the store. Please Contact us for more information." I had this same "Unknown Issue" initially (17 days ago) and contated them to no avail.

Anyone know what it means to go from two issues to one?

As limtc mentioned, my initial enthusiasm for iBooks Author is fast dimishing. Sigh...

yes, 30 plus days... my titles have some pretty complex javascript in them so that could be one reason it took so long but I really haven't a clue. My latest title to go live is also a kindle book so I think I am going to see how sales compare and to evaluate if the process/distraction is worth the effort to keep going with iBooks. From the way iBA's interactive functionality was pimped I really thought we were going to get some visibility but our interactive books are buried in with the std/enhanced books which are basically ePubs with maybe embedded audio/video/slideshows. Visibility sells books "usually" time will tell I guess.

Mine don't have JavaScript and it still takes more than 3 weeks.

I don't think Apple cares about iBA books at all. They should have a section just for iBA books.

    Still waiting.
