how can we bloack apps for security

A limited range of apps can be blocked, i.e., made invisible and not accessible, in the Settings menu. Most of them, however, can not.


For those, if you want them totally blocked off, with no possibility of easily getting them back, do the following:


  1. Delete the app(s) that you don't want to be accessed, then
  2. Turn the "Installing Apps" option to OFF, which makes the App Store disappear


Your apps are quite safe, and are still paid for. When the need has passed it's a simple matter to bring back the apps which you'd deleted.
