can I connect a 27'' LED Cinema Display to a Thunderbolt Display?

It's a generic one. So you think that if I got an Apple Mini Display to DVI I should be able to plug it directly into the back of my iMac?

You do not have much options here.... I would try it.

In your setup, you describe the following:

MAC -> Thunderbolt Display -> Thunderbolt External Hard Drive -> MiniDisplay Port Display

Is this correct? And this is working with no issues whatsoever for you?

I ask because I have a Dell U2711 Displayport monitor and a new Mac Mini 2012, I don't want to get rid of the Dell Monitor because it allows me to connect other devices to it (i.e. XBOX 360, Blu-Ray, etc.). I'd look into getting a TB monitor just for the second display...

I have macbook pro (early 2011) with 1 x thunderbolt port.

I had an LED cinema display and now I also have a thunderbolt display and want to extend my desktop to both displays.

I have tried this but the LED display is not working.

MBP > TB display > LED Display

Do I need to do this?

MBP > TB Display > TB Hub > LED Display.

Belkin makes a TB Hub (Belkin F4U055CWAPL) and am wondering if that will do the trick.

Need to ask becasue the TB Hub is several hundred euros!

Please help as I just spanked €1024 on the TB display and would rather not have to go and buy another one as the LED display works great and looks the same.

Guys, The way I have it is like I explained it in the beggining. Cannot really comment if those hubs will work on not. The only way to find out is try it so make sure you can return the item if it does not work like mine.

Tha main thing is the Thunderbold display needs to be the last in the chain that connects to your mac with all in one cord!
