I can transfer more than 16 GB files from NTFS to exFAT to Journaled. Why?

Hi,

I know that exFat has a maximum transfer limit of 16 GB. However, I am transferring well over 50 GB from my NTFS drive to exFAT drive as we speak. Will I lose any data because I'm transfering well over 16 GB from the NTFS to exFAT drive? And then, I will transfer some files, which will be well over 16 GB again, from the exFAT drive to Journaled drive. Will I experience any data loss? I don't see any warnings regarding of limited transfer size from NTFS > exFAT > Journaled.

I hope this makes sense to you!

PS: I don't know which section to put this thread in, but I will be using my exFAT drive with my MacBook, which is formated to Mac Journaled.

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
