Hello ds store

Now I know why I had trouble with NoScript. It buggers up my Apple Communities. I've tried to get into the system several times this evening and get a 20% length page with no listing, and have to go by indirect means to get where I want. Oh, and I kept getting advised of Apple updating the system but no such work prevented my access via Safari. So I disabled my newly installed NoScript ... and Bingo, all is well again.

Noscript doesn't like my favourite newspaper (The Daily Telegraph) either; nor it's comments columns. It seems to class it as BAD, BAD, BAD. although I've never had grounds to consider it a risk. Have you any idea why it should be this way?

Unless I can sort it out, it may have to be erased. And I was so hopeful.

Does this help, maybe?

Don't know for The Daily Telegraph, but for ASC all you need to do is allow Apple. You'll see edgekey.net, but I've never had any problems not allowing that.

The basic rule is to allow the absolute minimum to get a site to function. Most of the third party scripts are from trackers or site analytics. Their names are often giveaways, for example, "adsense" or "google analytics." I never find it necessary to allow any of these.

In general, if a site won't function properly, first thing is to temporarily allow the site itself. If that's not enough, then go on to the third party scripts. If you shift-click on any of them, that will bring you directly to the option to see what WOT and others thinks of it. For example, shift-clicking on edgekey brings this up. You can select any of these.

No issues here, perhaps in the past, ASC far as I know is all HTML 5 it seems, no scripts.

Uninstall and reinstall, just leave the default settings.

NoScript works in the Firefox browser only, not Safari or OS X.

If OS X wants to update the system, that's a entirely independent matter.

Works fine here, don't even have to turn it off. 🙂

Three strikes your out, hope your not trying to troll me here. 😉

Unintsll and reinstall NoScript to use the default settings again, if your still having issues, it's likely something wrong with your machine other than Firefox + NoScript.

Hey, after I read the article about updating your Java I thought it would be best to ask: I had a recent encounter that kinda concerned me. I visited a website that ran Java and Safari asked me to allow it before it would run. I clicked allow right after and then realized what possibly may have happened. Is there anyway I would've picked up malware such as a keylogger? Is there anyway of finding this out for sure? I have 1.6.0_31 right now if that means anything.
