My iPhone won't send iMessages. Instead, it sends them as regular texts. I'm trying to text an iPhone 4 and I have an iPhone 3gs.

Does the recipient have imessage turned on? if not it will send it as SMS.
Is the iPhone 4 user that you're trying to iMessage registered for iMessage?
I beleive the iPhone 4 has iMessage turned on; it's accepted iMessages in the past. My iPhone 3 has iMessages turned on.
