ITunes radio 10.5.3 (3) stopped working

I've been using ITunes radio flawlessly for years, when suddenly this a.m. I got the error message: An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later.

The rest of ITunes like the store and such seem to be working fine as is my internet connection. Nothing on my system has changed. ITunes was last updated in January 2012.

I'm on Mac book with OS X 10.6.8.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Not working in London UK either. It was all working fine last night but turned it on this morning and constant tuning service error.

Fingers crossed Apple fix this soon.

Not working in Reading UK still.... Hope they'll fix it soon. At first I thought there was a problem with my mac mini.

As I'm not listening to radio at all, any ideas how to disable the radio service?

so has apple addressed this yet? i have just tried to launch my itunes radio and nothing but that error.

Same issue in New Jersey. Tried restarting, restoring everything. Airport Extreme, Apple TV. Nothing works. Radio is unavailable on Apple TV AND in iTunes. Spoke to an Apple tech support guy who knew exactly nothing.

Baton Rouge, LA. No radio still at 12:41 PM Was working justfine last night when I left the office. I come in this morning at 9am, same error as everyone else. I think we need to get this thread on google news and some reports to investigate and THEN Apple might start taking notice!!!

Same problem here in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The iTunes radio server is down.

Same here.....Itunes on my iMac works but not on my Macbook so a little confused about why this is happening since they are on the same network...

Same here in Brooklyn. NOT working on my MacBook Pro (10.6.8), but DOES work on an old PowerBook with iTunes version 4 on it.

itunes 8 radio working fine. itunes 10.5.3 not working at all on any radio station, but no problems with itunes store. I guess they want us to buy but not to listen.
