Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Several time an hour, the screen below pops-up, asking for my Yahoo email password. Once, when I did submit my password, a spam email was immediately sent to all of my friends. I changed my password but can't get rid of this popup. I don't know if it's a trojan or something else, but if someone could help me get rid of this screen, I'd really appreciate it.

Could you try a very simple test? Create a new user in sys prefs/ users and groups, log out from existing user and log into the new user. Try to work for some time there, e.g. hafl an hours, is all OK if doing this?
Try disabling your Yahoo mail account in Mail preferences. You don't have to delete it; just uncheck the box labeled Enable this account in the settings. Do the same on the phone.

I never use Mail and it's only connected to my also never used Gmail account. I did disable all Yahoo services on my phone and the pop up still appeared without my iPhone being connected.
And just to clarify, the popup only appeared during safe made when my iphone was connected, but when not in safe mode, it apears with our without my iPhone being connected.
I tried this and the new profile didn't have the problem. Then I tried resetting the SyncServices folder as per Linc and it worked. Seems like you both were on the same track. Thanks so much!
