Why does my iPad take forever to charge?

Forever is how long? Are you charging using the included charge unit, or USB form computer?

I agree with Stedman1 - define forever. It takes about 4 hours to recharge an iPad from a very low battery level if you use the power adapter plugged into a wall socket. If you are using your computer it will take much, much longer.

If you are plugging into the computer with USB, that is not a sufficient power source for the iPad. Use the wall adapter as others have stated.
