Iphone keeps asking me for my AppleID password

Settings---General---Restrictions-- Enable or Disable everything.......or pick what you wish to require password.

I turned them all of considering the 6S already needs my finger print or 6 digit password.

What's messed-up is just today 3 Apple Care customer support types told me I had to live with constant password requests.

I have the same problem. Each time I turn on my iPhone 6S it asks for me for my: "Apple ID Verification" I originally had a problem with my email settings, which I fixed, but this did not help. Then, I went to iTunes and removed my old iPhone from the devices lists and re-submitted my "Apple ID Verification" and this failed too. (I do not see my new iPhone in the device list.) I am not sure how wide-spread this problem is, but it is either a bug in the Apple software (on the iPhone or at their server) but I have yet to figure out this problem.

The new Apple needs to remember the old Apple and stop saying unhelpful things like that.

Thank you to everyone who has replied to this post, I hardly had to read anything other than the top 3 replies, and yes, there was a "1 item waiting to download" though it didn't say what it was. I have done as the experiences you have shared to do, let's see if I too have gotten rid of this problem like you all or not! Thanks all!! =D

Not sure if this was posted earlier in the thread but I was having a similar issue. Two macs, two iPads and my iPhone were all constantly requesting my password. I would enter it and think everything was ok, but then a few hours later I was being prompted again.

The one link in the chain that I missed was my Airport base station! I have back to my mac turned on and I had not updated the password there. I updated the password on my base station so it was happy and crossing my fingers that this has finally solved the problem.

Would you please share for those of us stuck looking for this solution? Thanks to everyone on this thread. Driving me guano crazy.

Well done. My ipad has iMovie stuck waiting but it is not in the update list and it was my phone always asking. And then your password manager gets messed up and .... this stuff didn't use to happen. I have 80 entries in KeyChain Access for apple. I even switched from 1password to DashLane hoping to get things straight? What was I thinking.

Tap Settings

Scroll to iTunes & App Stores and select it

Tap on your Apple ID: (your email)

Tap View Apple ID

Tap your Apple ID

Confirm everything is correct and hit Done

This worked for me, thank you i have spent weeks dealing with this! i also disabled and enabled my cookies in between.. far out .. so glad thats over!! u rock🙂

Dear Sir I have iphone 4 my ios version is 7.1.2 i ant install any app from apps store show this error : you must update to ios 8 in order to download iphone 4

Yes my iPhone has been doing the same thing for about a month. However I don't remember purchasing anything If I purchased anything which made it start.

This is happening to me as well on all my devices. It's so annoying that I don't even want to use them anymore. None of the answers below worked for me.

Did that it started up again. 5 days latter. Any ideas.
