Iphone keeps asking me for my AppleID password

Make sure that all of the apps, ICloud e-mail(s) etc have been logged into and have the same password. My thought is that something hasn't been logged into properly yet. I did this with my wife's phone for ICloud and at least for the moment it seems to have stopped asking for password.

Where exaclt is it in the iTunes - cannot find that thing? Though it might be there is no that option in the Windows iTunes?

Hi everyone, i've been sought out this discussion after having the same issue. None of the above helped my situation (password check on iphone 5 continuously). After much frustration, I noticed that on my iPad, there were several icons ghosted out - updating it seems but nothing was completing. i think i may have unplugged it before it finished updating apps and so it was in waiting state for that. Upon resetting the 'update all' in the app store, it finished those updates and now the warning no longer appears on m iPhone. Puzzling why the warning came up on my phone and not the ipad but I'm just happy it's stopped the password madness!

I have been also having this issue (constant asking), and think that you are right about the interrupted app downloads. I am hoping that once all of my apps are finished doing their thang, that I won't have to keep up the entering.

What I did was I went to Setting then iTunes & App Store, Then I logged out of my account and did it over again and now it works perfectly!

If iTunes keeps asking for a password on any Apple device (iPhone, iPad, iMac, MacBook.....) just go to Safari on same device and enable cookies. Somehow thats linked to iTunes sign in. Cheers

It's this kind of thing that really makes me hate apple sometimes.

The repeated request for your passwword should go away if you sign in to manage your Apple ID and allow the site to pu a cookie on your system.

Not sure what thread I read it in but if this keeps happening go to settings > safari and enable all cookies. Once I did it asked one more time and now lets me download at will. To whoever posted it thanks!!!

I had this problem too. I found the solution was that my email was not configured properly and the outgoing email configuration was not allowing outgoing email. After fixing the problem the reply got back to Apple and the problem was fixed. Test to make sure your email is both sending and receiving.

I have just upgraded my wife's phone to an iPhone 6 from a backup on her own laptop. The old iPhone 5 had previously on one occasion be backed up to my MacBook. It is now asking for my Apple ID password for certain free apps such as YouTube, iTunes U, TripAdvisor which would never have been downloaded using my Apple ID. I have deleted these apps but it then starts to reinstall them. I have checked that the correct password for my wife's iTunes and iCloud are set up in the iPhone 6. Everything else is working ok including email. I am reluctant to input my password to solve the problem. I would appreciate any ideas on how to resolve this. Thanks.
