Sync iCal to Google Calendar - HTTP error 404

Hi there,

I recently managed get Google Calendar event into iCal, which I am new to. I need to be able to do the opposite, which currently I cannot do.

I have tried the following in iCal 5.0.2 using Lion OS X 10.7.3.

iCal > File > New Calendar > Google > And untitled calender appears un the Google label. Then the following error messages appear...

The server responded with an error.

https://calendar.google.com/calendar/dav/

mattbuchanan85@gmail.com/user/ is not a location

that supports this request.

The URL https://calendar.google.com/calendar/dav/

mattbuchanan85@gmail.com/user/ encountered

HTTP error 404. Make sure the URL is correct.

I really don't know what to do from here on in. All help appreciated. Thanks.

Found this on Google forums.

1. Go to https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect

2. Select the calenars your want tot sync. Click "Save".

3. Go to Calendar.app, hit Command-R to refresh and sync calendars.

This seemed to solve the issue for me after trying everything else (deletion, cache clearing, etc). Not sure how long, but it's working for now. I'll update if it fails again.
