In THEORY it shouldn't, but in practice I wonder if there is an off chance of some sort of interference.
The magic mouse is prone to these sorts of issues, but the fact that they keyboard is showing it as well has me suspicious.

No. A Bluetooth device may only connect with one thing at a time.
Try making the devices "favorites."
If that does not help, reset the PRAM, reset the SMC, and trash a preference file (com.apple.bluetooth.plist) and restart.

Hi Barry-
You seem to be the expert with the mmouse problems...
ive tried all of your proposed fixes without success including resetting PRAM. my mouse disconnects and reconnects randomly about every 5-6 seconds. the only way ive found to stop this is to keep the mouse (cursor) moving around continuously. once i stop, the mouse disconnects again.
the keyboard does not seem to have this problem which is interesting to me.
any ideas?
Hi Carl:
FYI, in the future, it will get you more responses if you start a new thread.

1. More than 50 miles from home
2 A drip under pressure.

It may be that the mouse is faulty...that is always possible.
If you have done all the resets (indicated above), I have one more thought. If you are near an Apple store, take it in and see if it works on thier equipment.
