Safari 5.1.3 cannot access https://referees.aps.org/Referrals/login /new. Firefox does this with no trouble, so there is nothing wrong with the site. If this is not resolved I will (once again) have to abandon Safari. Can anyone help?

Safari 5.1.3 (MacOS 10.7.3) cannot access https://referees.aps.org/Referrals/login/new. Ditto for https://referees.aps.org/. Firefox does this with no trouble, so there is nothing wrong with the site. If this is not resolved I will (once again) have to abandon Safari. Can anyone help?

You know, I'm glad your computer works. But if you pay attention to this forum you'll see that lots of people are having extremely inconsistent and reoccurring issues with Safari 5.1.3. I've had similar issues myself all week long with 5.1.3 only to have everything I thought I solved reoccur like some diseased digital game of Whack-A-Mole.

If you're offering your help, great, and sorry you weren't appreciated. But if you're looking for recognition, then maybe this isn't the place for you to be helping, Because, let's face it, this isn't a herd of gorillas and you aren't a silverback. Sorry to break it to you.

Bottom line: You wanna help the guy, help the guy. Otherwise, keep it to yourself. That's how grown ups work, Uncle Bert.
