iPad won't play any videos

Thanks my new iPad had this problem out of the box. The full reset fixed it

Ok, original iPad now an $800.00 door stop since Apple dropped it like a hot, rotten potato, but the 30 video clips which I loaded through iTunes are indeed in the MP4 format. Try to play, get a 1second working wheel, and then blackness. Reloading the videos does not work either. I am still using a MacBook ... The 2nd gen White case and it works better and can still be updated. Again these videos have been loaded for a a year and 1/2 and never had any issues. Why, when you are a world leader in technology would you simply stop supporting one of your products ... And I mean updates and troubleshooting. I really don't want to have to "Buy a newer device" each time a new device is released simply because a manufacturer decides that it WON'T provide further support to one of its products. If I had known that the original iPad was to be the first DISPOSABLE product at $800.00, I would have moved to something else.

When I sync my original iPad with my MacBook, my video starts working again so I just do that whenever my kids start saying that the iPad video does not work. I have every iPad since the original at home, and so far, the original iPad is the only one with the video issue.

WWhat needs to be done to resolve this?

Perfect, Exactly what my iPad Air2 needed before it was going to go through the window. Now all of my videos play After holding the power and home button until the apple apears.
