This one is easy

This works in all versions of Mac OS X:

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch Image Capture from the /Applications/ folder
  3. Hit Command+A to Select All pictures within Image Capture, then with all images selected click the red (\) button to delete all photos
  4. Confirm deletion when asked and be prepared to wait

This should work in all versions of Windows:

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Open ‘My Computer’ and choose “Apple iPhone”
  3. Open to folders “Internal Storage” and then open “DCIM”, contained within will be a folder containing all photos and videos on the iPhone
  4. From the folder containing the pictures, select all, then delete

You are welcome guys 🙂

Not sure if this is an answer or a bug or I'm just confused. This is on iOS6 (could have been earlier version too)

If you go to Settings > General > Usage > Wait for Storage to load > Photos & Camera

Swipe left on Camera Roll and you get a Delete option. However it doesn't seem to do anything for me. It takes me back the screen before except this time the arrow's missing from the Photos & Camera item (go out and come back and it returns). Photos remain.

Hi,

Even though I delete all images from iPhone (4S in my case) I keep getting "events" in iTunes that are no longer in my iPhoto. Take a look at this link: http://screencast.com/t/qQf0DLqx Why is this? More keep appearing as I take more pictures. Does this have to do with iCloud? Nobody has been able to help me on this and I've been asking for quite a long time now 🙂

Somebody heeeeeelp!!!!!!! 😀

Thankx!

From what Dah*veed responded before is what I usually do once in a while when I feel like I should delete a couple of pictures. However, right now I'm on the same boat as you because I want to delete all of my pictuers since it is sort of lagging my phone and making it hard for me to take new pictures due to lack of space. Therefore, What I'm trying out right now after reading all the comments about no "delete all pictures button" and from what Dah*veed mentioned earlier... LOOPHOLE??? Reimport ALL THE PICTURES... and the when the option is offered, click yes I will delete it all. (Trying that out right now as I type). Probably will not be responding later in the future because I might forget to but if I do I'll let y'all know. Wish me luck!
