OK! so after trying everything I could find to solve my same problem... I finally found one that worked!!

http://www.ipodrepublic.com/iphone/fixing-issue-other-files-iphone-memory/2010/0 3/31/

This person mentions a software called DiskAid... and that it what I had to use!!

You open up the software and then click the folder "file system" then "camera roll".... on mine it popped up with a bunch of random files, I deleted them all... since I had them

already saved... I have no idea where or how these files were there... it was like they were hidden, anyways that freed up most of my space!!

Also if you noticed when you connected to itunes that it shows the data as other.... it should go down after you delete those files...

if its still large it might be voicemails as well... I'm going to try to delete some and see if that helps.

God Bless and good luck!!

When I look in my phone itself there's no photos. When I plug it into my PC, when I click on Phone Device the memory meter is in the red, when I look through iTunes where the memory meter is, the orange bar for Photos is about seven inches long. This means I have traces of photos still in the phone. In my phone, when I clicked on Settings, General, Usage and Manage Storage, it says Photos & Camera has used 2.8GB. When I click on that, Photo Library has used 2.5GB, My Photo Stream has used 330MB and Shared Photo Stream has used 53KB. I can't click on any of them to delete anything. The only thing I can click on is Settings to take me to the previous screen. How can I delete the photos without restoring my phone? Thanks.

Normally when you connect your iPhone to your mac or pc via iTunes, you will have a folder from where you will sync all your photos. Make sure you "uncheck" the images folder in iTunes(this turns off the photos sync) and sync again this will in-turn clear all the photos sync from your iPhone. This works for me when I sync my iPhone with my Laptop, with iTunes for Windows and not on a Mac.

For the Camera roll

you can follow the first reply - by randers4

{Open you Camera Roll, tap the arrow button (top right), tap all the photos you want to delete, tap the Delete button at the bottom. (There isn't a "delete all" button.) Photos synced to your phone from your computer have to be deleted using the sync process (by deselecting them on the Photos tab in iTunes and syncing).}

Hope this reply helps.
