MLB.TV not switching to 2012 spring training games

MLB.TV is starting to cover some spring training games today, and I'm able to pull them up on my computer, but on ATV it's seems to be stuck in last season (offering only replays of last season's games). According to MBL.TV's website, for ATV specifically:

Watch every-out-of-market game LIVE in HD quality with MLB.TV Premium on your Apple TV. Don't have time watch the live game? Easily navigate to archived games. Spring Training games available early March.

Does this mean specifically that Spring Training games will only be available as archived games? I seem to read it as Spring Training games should be able to be watched live.

I just did an update on my ATV, also, to see if that would "kickstart it", but no good. Have logged out and back in a number of times, to no avail.

I am having the same problem too. The only way so far that works for me is to airplay from my iphone. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

I called MLB customer support and she told me that spring training games will be broadcast in March - when exactly in March she could not say. I assume (hope) sooner than later. But, this appears to be an Apple problem not an MLB problem.

I'm wondering if the app inside the ATV is hard wired for last season, then... I guess we'll know if it takes an ATV update to fix it in the long run.

I suspect you are correct - Apple needs to update the menu; there not any updates prompted presently.

Yes, I still see the results from WS, I would not mind watching Yankees crush someone from then 2011 season, but I want to see Spring Training gms. Apple please get on this ASAP!!! We paid already for this service to MLB and APPLE is failing to deliver, much like there lack of Dividends to shareholders...

I have the same prolem. The MLB app needs a seriously update. A new interface with easier navigation and more options with scoreboards. Currently, I'm using HDMI to mirror to my HDTV and the quality drops.

On a side note, I think MLB tv is great and makes baseball accessible for fans internationally without having to pay for sevices like cable tv (which is overpriced in Australia). I expect more for the premium price I am paying.

Same problem in Australia: I've signed in and out of my MLB.tv account on my Apple TV several times to no avail, and no update is available.

This morning's game came through just fine on the MLB At Bat app in my iPhone however so all was not lost: go Yankees.

This is not just an Apple problem. PS3 also is stuck on 2011. The PS3 site says spring training is coming March 20th. So I guess until an update comes AirPlay it is.

According to Macrumors, "MLB tells MacRumors that the Apple TV is receiving an updated interface for 2012 as well." so looks like it could be from the MLB end!?
