Saving PDF too large

Saving PDF too large

Using the OSX feature "Print" - "Save as PDF" creates an enormous PDF. A file that should be 100K may save as 13M. Is there a way to optimize or shrink this?

You would need Acrobat Pro or Photoshop. If you have Photoshop open the pdf in PS, reduce the DPI and save as .pdf

If you still have OS 9 on your Mac, check out PrintToPDF - Mac printer driver that creates PDF files (readable by Adobe Acrobat Reader or GhostScript on any platform). You do not need to have the full Acrobat package (as opposed to the Reader) installed for PrintToPDF to work.

Yes, there are graphics. I have Photoshop so this is probably my best bet.
