Logitech Harmony 900 connection problems?

I have a Logitech 900 Harmony remote and a new MacBook Pro with Lion OS. The Logitech software is installed and fully up-to-date, but when I plug in my remote to update it or change functions, the remote will not update. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Late 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

G'day twhitehouse, you need to boot your mac in 32 bit mode first.

Try rebooting manually while holding down the 3 and 2 keys.

Once you are logged in you can check this status by:

Apple() --> About this Mac --> More info --> Overview -->SystemReport

System Software Overview:

64-bit Kernel and Extensions:

No if it is boot into 32-bit,

Yes if it is booted 64-bit

You then need to go into System Preferences and turn the Firewall off

Select Secuirty and Privacy

Push the "Stop" button.

Now start up your Logitech App and try updating again.

*** After you're done, don't forget to turn the Firewall back on.
