You can only read them on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch).

I am, and Apple has been known to browse through here as well. So don't think it's just here.

However I feel compelled to express my feelings of disbelieve and disappointment when Apple's competing book service they discussed at length in the October product launch has such a poor structure. So by all means, rest assured my purchases will be using Amazon Kindle from now on since their product managers seem have a brain.

I thought that it would be cool to purchase the Steve Jobs biography on iBooks, and apparently I was wrong.

Adobe digital does not work for DRM protected books from the Apple Store. This is the reason I have spent thousands of dollars buying books on the Kindle store. You can access your content on your laptop, what a revolutionary concept. I can actually view the content I paid for on my laptop with th click of a button. Never thought I'd live to see the day where Apple is behind Amazon in terms of product functionality and ease of use.

Cecil, i agree. Apple is the lamest company in the world, albeit one of the richest. Cannot play my entire library of music from iphone to Android. Cannot read books. Cannot watch movies. In short, it is amazing to me that these idiots have been so successful. What is even more bewildering is the high minded, entitled arrogance of their sales force (brainwashed by corporate for just this purpose) to offend. Geniuses!! Hah, what a joke! I hope they become a bad memory soon. They only people more stupid are the sheep they've created who still drink their lemonade.
