Why can't I change my itunes from US to UK? everytime I enter a valid UK card I get the above error message. It *****.
Is this Apple's business to check does my credit card belong to this country or not? I may have credit cards in dfferent countries and I can use them wherever I want. I can buy salt from the market with this credit card in a completely different country but I cannot buy applications from App Store. This is ridiculous.
If it is a bug, just fix it. If it is a kind of a "security" policy, I have to say that: "it is ********!"
I am having the same problem I brought my
Mac in uk live in uk and card is uk.. Phoned apple and they said they can't do any thing. Are you also trying to use a visa card?
I am getting the same result in New Zealand.
It seems that all the people having trouble are international accounts. I haven't seen any US people who are having this problem.
Good point. No one from US are reporting issues. I'm guessing that they are on a seperated system.
The best for US, leave what is left for the rest....
Same in Latvia. Loads of another card trials (Visa, MC, Amex). Nothing. Few days ago though, everything was perfect.

Same issues . . . Seems it hasn't been sorted as i've been trying since yesterday. . . You would of thought apple would of put something online about the issues!?!?!?!?
No response to online support. Managed to speak with support guy, not able to help. Definitely "international" (i.e. Non-US) problem.

I have the same problem in Hungary. My credit card is not accepted even though I have been using it succesfuly for the last year to purchase in the apple store. This is annoying.
Same problem here (UK). Tried multiple valid UK credit cards, I get the exact same error message. Emailed Apple support last night, no response yet. I'll post back here once they get back to me.
Same in Bulgaria. Y-day I was able to buy with my card, today it says that the card is not correct for my country😕.
The same problem in Latvia. Today recieved new credit card, because previous has expired, but recieving this message and can't add it to iTunes account.
I am also in the UK, tried to use 3x UK cards same message.
Same here in Argentina, credit card not valid for Argentine Store. Very, very strange problem. Hope they fix it soon or we won't be able to give them our precious dollars.
