Icon Preview is not shown for mp3 files in finder

does anyone have any more ideas for how to resolve this?

please read the thread before posting Mark. You are not understanding the OP's and my issue. We are not concerned with the preview play/pause buttons. We are talking about album artwork now being displayed as iTunes symbol/mp3. If anyone has suggestions for that issue, feel free to add to the discussion. Also, Mark, someone else already posted about the 64x64. Please stop posting irrelevant information. Thank you.

I have the same problem after updated iTunes 11.1 😟

reinstall itunes - restart and the artwork appeared 🙂

It's been so long that I can't remember if I'd tried that. Just curious: was your artwork failing to appear in Finder as we'll?

It sounds funky but deleting voice memos from iTunes does the trick. This has happened to be two times now and both times deleting voice memos does it.
