I wonder what is the difference between Apple ProRes HQ and H.264 with 1920 x 1080. I am looking for video stock that for my project and noticed that there is two different format. I am not sure what is the difference between them. Can you explain? Thanks

ProRes is a codec that FCP can use for editing. It is an "editing codec." Full I-Frame, good lossless compression scheme...designed for editing.
H.264 is a lossy codec...not designed for editing (at least in FCP, Avid). Used primarily as a shooting format, and final delivery format.
Because of its loseless format ProRes is also considerably larger in filesize
