Mine's a used ipod classic 7 that I just bought, it has a reallocate of 2432 and a pending of 48 without the format and just a couple restores. Is that bad or is it fixable?

It doesn't change in response to a DFU or a regular restore. I'd try a low level format, but iTunes is still converting songs and I don't want to screw that up.

I have a lot of different iPods though including several classics, I sell them. And I've never had this problem with any other iPod. I feel like the problem must be in the iPod correct?

I have a 160Gb classic (6th Gen.) that is working fine with iTunes 11.

If you've only had it since Christmas and have looked after it well then I see no good reason why you should have that many reallocs. It should still be in warranty. Why not explore that option?

I guess I'll have to. Just wondering what are reallocs? Could I have a lot of them if I download music online ?

The stats look OK. Try disabling any AV software and use the "break up large transfer method" so see if that works any better.
