Why did Apple TV forget the Alphabet?

Since updating to iTunes 10.6, Apple TV 2 has developed a new and seriously crappy little quirk.

When I go to my TV shows on Home Sharing, they're no longer in alphabetical order. That's 115 different shows split up into who-knows-how-many seasons -- and they're no longer in alphabetical order. Different seasons of the same show are often split far apart around the list.

This is true on the one Apple TV 2 that I upgraded to the new software, and it's also true on the Apple TV 2 that still has the old software.

It's unacceptable.

Given the speed compared to normal perhaps they're well aware and hopefully a quick patch will be out!

Having the same issue. It's extremely frustrating, and disappointing after spending the time and money preparing a MacMini to serve as the new AppleTV media server (having enjoyed the first gen AppleTV that could hold the media). I am surprised actually that Apple would make such a big deal out of launching the new AppleTV wihtout first checking to make sure it worked, and then not fixing the issue immediately once it was known. My out of the box experience has been one of frustration rather than the usual awe and glee assocaited with getting new Apple product.

iTunes update 10.6.1 out today now fixes, kinda, the problem:

- Resolves an ordering problem while browsing TV episodes in your iTunes library on Apple TV.

TV shows in the initial menu now list in proper albhabetical order again (Alcatraz to Zorro and then 21 Jump street etc. However, when you go into a show, all episode titles are in reverse alphabetical order (eg, starting with Zorro's Escape and going to Another Zorro Adventure). A bit weird.
