New iPad (3rd Generation) Pre-Order info.

My new iPad is at Louisville kY.

I hope I get it by Noon at March 16th just like iPhone4S

My delivery date has been pushed back to between the 19th and the 26th. And when I check my support profile there was no device listed (but the cover was there!). So I called Apple and after speaking with three different people I learned that because I ordered my IPad (new generation) through the University from which I work, rather than as a consumer, it ships differently. I'm not sure why, it was confirmed they all come from the same source in China. We shouldn't be treated any differently than a consumer walking in off the street.

I was cut off from the last transfer but was left with an email address and phone number of the sales rep to our University to speak to directly to ask why the date keeps getting pushed.

So, those of you who have ordered from your company the answer may be there are different rules for corporate purchases versus consumer purchases and that is why some are still seeing still in processing and not in preparation or yet sent. 😟

Ah, there's the downside of "Educational Pricing". 😢

Mine say, picked up in Nashville, TN. ETA 16.

But in destination don't say anything.

Normally all the Fedex shipments, say the city of destination.

Why is not in transit?

I hope I will receive it mine on Friday... is a present for my wife.

Everyone's shipment seems to have finally made it from Alaska to Louisville. Mine has been in Alaska since the 10th. I am getting nervous since it is now almost Friday!

Mine left from Anchorage to Louisville on March 10th.

But it still did not arrived at Louisville. Still "in transit"......

Got my order in at 12:16pm PST on March 7th.

Still no shipment notification. Nothing shows up in the 'Support' trick listed above, and can't check my status in the store as it is down.

I had better get mine on Friday.

I pre-ordered my Ipad on March 8th and the arrival of my Ipad was set on 16 March. On Monday i was shocked to see that i will get mine on April 2th ! I really cannot understand what's going on as i pre-ordered really early 😟

I ordered my iPad on March 7th and it was shipped out March 9th 🙂 But UPS hasn't updated my package in 5 days.

Hasn't been updated since it's departure from Anchorage AK...has anyone else had this issue with there package not being updated?

Mines left Anchorage AK March 10th 11:25 pm and hasn't been updated since! Getting very annoyed! 😠

Geeez. Why are you annoyed? It left Alaska, what more do you need to know and what difference will it make? You were told when it will be delivered were you not? Who cares where it is between now and when it is delivered?

If your delivery date still is March 16, it will get to you unless some unforseen act from Mother Nature occurs to prevent it.

First off there was no need for you to be rude. I am annoyed because it hasn't been updated in 5 days!! I'd like to know where it exactly is, so I obviously care whare it is located!!! I'm not worried about the delivery date I just want make sure that I am home when it is delivered.

Then be home on the delivery date.
