My iPhone 4 is stuck in recovery mode...how to get it functional again?

I was updating to the new iOS 5 software yesterday and the update was installing. The installation got interupted and now the phone is continuously stuck in recovery mode. I deleted iTunes from pc and reinstalled newest version. rebooted several times. Still stuck in recovery mode...?????

Hi guyz just fixed mine just now, I used an app named iREB please refer to the below link. Make suer youre iphone is plugged in to your USB then launch the app as admin. As soon as the app is running go to the "Recovery Mode Loop Fixer" tab & hit the "Set Auto-Boot True (Fixes 1015 errors / Recovery Loops). It will restart your iPhone in just a moment & get you back to your homescreen.


I hope this will help those whos undergoing this horrifying iPhone problem.

I had the same problem of having my recently updated phone in a recovery loop.


My solution after many hours of headaches:


1. Open itunes

2. Connect USB to computer but not to phone

3. If phone is on, hold the power button and home button till the screen goes black. Once it goes black remove your hands from the power button.

4. While doing this use your other hand to connect the USB to your phone.


You should theoritacally be able to resolve your loop restore by simply restoring your phone NOW.
