any way to get FM radio reception on an ipod touch?

I need to buy a new ipod, since I lost my Nano. I am interested in an ipod touch, but need to be able to receive FM radio transmissions to watch TV shows at the athletic club. The touch does not seem to have a built in radio. Is there an app or any available accessory to use on a 4th gen touch to receive FM?

I'd like to know how to do this too and I don't understand how that would work because the TV in the health club has an FM transmitter on the back of it and that radio frequency is transmitted into the FM airwaves, not the wireless internet.

I'm not sure but I think that a commercial radio station may transmit to the FM airwaves and the internet. Only the internet allows us to tune to it.

I think there's also products that allow you to tune to the FM transmitter which that particular company also sells. I tried one from Griffin today hoping it would work in a health club which has another brand FM transmitter. No such luck.

I just re-read your reply IIlass and think I understand it now. You're saying that the iPOD Touch doesn't have an FM receiver, so you're forced to buy an FM Tuner that plugs in or replace it with a Nano. Correct?

If so that's a major disappointment. The touch is expensive enough that it should include an FM tuner. I had one in the 3DLabs product that I pitched in favor of the touch.
