Hi
Following the instructions given previously for the iTunes 7 fix using msconfig seems to have fixed the problem for me. I could not find any service that was causing the problem. I unchecked all the services and then restarted and found that the error disappeared. Went back and tried enabling a bunch of services at a time and the error did not appear again - even after I had selected all the services again. I then went back and selected Normal start up, restarted the computer and the error has gone away. Fixed for now. Let me see what happens tomorrow.
The only message I got was when I disabled the Apple Mobile Device Service and started iTunes (see image below) and I selected Yes to repair. Not sure if this is the issue or it is a standard message displayed when the service is disabled. Hope this helps.
