Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

iweb, rapidweaver, freeway....

I've been using iWeb but Apple isn't really "supporting" it any more, there are no updates and although it is relatively easy to use I don't like some of it. I'd like to make a gallery for my photography site and I don't like the way iweb handles it. I'd like to see a strip at the bottom or somehow be able to pick the pictues you see and a slideshow.. I just want a little more control and some options.

Has anyone used either Rapidweaver or Freeway Pro and if so what do you think?

Thanks,

Susan

Back on topic, I don't see Freeway, Flux or RapidWeaver as being viable replacements for iWeb.

Hang on to iWeb for a little while longer and work around the problems created by the closing of MobileMe.

I've said before that something better is bound to come along and its just a question of having a little patience!

I couldn't agree more. I don't think I've ever used a piece of software as intuitively simple as iWeb. I remember launching it for the first time and building a site without reading any of the manual at all.

Okay the code isn't great - we all know that. But the interface is supreme. I've yet to find anything as good in that respect. That's why I keep my copy too.

iweb, rapidweaver, freeway....
