Hello guys. Could anyone point me in the direction of a very good iPad 3 case that covers the back and also folds over the front. similar to the one that Apple launched with the iPad 1. Im not fussed about one with a magnet that just covers the screen. I'm in the UK. Best wishes..

One of those top ten is the Otterbox Defender. I have that on my iPad 3. I like everything about it except one. The display protector, which is built into the case, causes some interference patterns to appear that cause the display to be less than perfect. It is as if there is a lot of very small spots of 'sparkly' color noise present.
Things are still very legible and I'll probably get used to it, but all in all I would have preferred a totally clear protector that didn't 'modify' the display characteristics so much.

Sort of pricey. First thing I would want to know for sure is if it actually works with the wake/sleep function. The case I bought was supposed to do that and did not. Magnet is off by just enough to make it not work. None of these manufacturers really knew until yesterday if the case would actually work with the new iPad, yet many advertised that they would.
Searched for a good case, I found it's very difficult. This case doesn't protect the corners and is pricy.
Here's my suggestion. I really like it and it's the next best thing to the original Apple iPad (1st gen) case, In my honest opinion.

I have seen many I mean it many cases and what end up to my new iPad is a dark gray smart cover from apple and a clear snap cover from belkin and it looks fantastic I have a 32 gb white Verizon and the dark gray cover looks awesome and clear on the back.
I heard clear snap cover will distory the screen protector if you have one. Is that correct?

Wow, and I've been scouring the internet and thought there was a dearth of cases available. Thanks for posting the link. It looks like there's a winner in this list for me, but I'm not sure how to decide. Perhaps someone can offer a suggestion. The new iPad is my first one. I was looking for something that could give good protection against dropping it, something light and something comfortable to hold while riding the train (often standing) and reading.

I've used this company a few times, they seem to have a pretty decent range of iPad 3 cases and their postage is always pretty speedy. Looks like some of the items have positive reviews on so they could be a good shout if other people have already said they like them!

Sorry for the long silence. Was waiting for my new ipad and the case to comment further. I have both and it does fit perfectly, I can use all the features of my new ipad nicely like camera, power button & so on.
