Our IPad cannot pick up wireless signal well but our Mac Air normally can in the same room

Please I am a total un tech person so no abbreviations etc i searched online but cant understand half of what everyone is talking about!

We are using both devices in a hotel room I think the connection is unstable anyway but as we travel a lot it's a common problem.

We've rebooted iPad taken it in to Apple etc but the issue keeps reoccurring.

Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

Additional things to try.

Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi. (You won't be able to do this in a hotel.)

On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

If none of the above suggestions work, look at this link.

hate to say it, but that may be normal. i know that my macbook has slightly better range than my ipad. if the hotel you stay at has wireless routers that aren't very close to you, that may cause the problem you see
