does the ipod touch 4g white have an a5 chip?

I know this thread is 5 years old but its driving me nuts. The Cortex A8 was the core, not the processor. The iPod Touch 4th generations came with the A4 processor. Both the A4 and A5 chip had a Cortex A8 core as did many other processors at the time.
