Yes for iTunes. Here's a link to the 64-bit installer for 10.6.0.40:

No for the QuickTime Player ... it's 32-bit and on 64-bit systems runs on the Windows-on-Windows-64 subsystem.
b noir,
After installing QuickTime on the HP laptop 64 bit, Video from the Apple WEB site (iPad intro) will not play. Apple WEB site continues to tell me to download QuickTime. Your thoughts, please.
Those are the videos on the following page?
What web browser are you using to view the pages? If it's Internet Explorer, which version do you have? (7, 8 or 9?)
I am using IE 9. The videos you reference are those which I attempted to view only to discover this difficulty with QuickTime on a 64 bit machine.
I have installed Safari as a "work around". It enabled the QuickTime player.
I am using IE 9.
I think the ActiveX control for QuickTime hasn't been installed yet. In IE 9, visit the page and go down to the bottom of the screen and click in the box asking if you want to install the control. (I can't remember the precise wording of the box.) Does that get your QuickTime plugin working?
