Mail Unable To Connect Error

For the last day and half, I've been unable to access my iCloud email through Mail on Lion. I get the following error:

The server returned the error: The connection to host p03-imap.mail.me.com on port 143 failed.

According to the system status, iCloud Mail did have an issue but apparently they think it's resolved. Anyone have any idea why I'm still getting an error? I have no problems accessing iCloud Mail on any other devices or through Safari.

iMac 3.06 GHz 24, Mac OS X (10.7), 4 Gigs RAM

I had this issue and received the error message The server “p04-imap.mail.me.com” refused to allow a connection on port 993.

After going back and forth, I realised that if I looked at Mail. Mail > Preferences > Accounts my Email Address was an @me.com address However, when I went to System Preferences > iCloud > Account Details > Contact it only had @mac.com I added the @me.com and it seems to have fixed the issue (for now)!😕
