Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

iPad 3 + Digital AV Adapter = "This Accessory is Not Supported"

It's as simple as that -- I connect my new iPad to my Digital AV Adapter and I receive the error "This Accessory is Not Supported". My older iPad 2 has no problems with this Digital AV Adapter, so I know the Digital AV Adapter is OK.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Has anyone else done this same thing and NOT had a problem?

if it doesn't work it may be the iPad itself. Have you updated the iPad firmware? If problem persists take it back and get it replaced.

The AV adapter has a slot to accept the iPad power cord. It will charge but very slowly since the iPad is doing a lot of processing.
