If you bothered to Google the term instead of posting a rude message here, then you'd already know the answer.

Rude answer? I want to take a 24" crowbar to a suit. What the living **** is this nonsense? My HDMI cable connnected to an AppleTV and a Sony TV isn't enough? What the living **** more do I have to ******** do to watch a ******** twenty-year old television show? This is a right PITA and I am not in any mood to apologize to anyone. I want to break some suit's head for this unneccessary annoyance. And from what I've Googled in the past twenty minutes I'm not alone.

Aghh, but I bet you do know the answer. I can however understand why you're not willing to spend the time on providing it though.

Forgive me for waffling, I have just found the outstanding benefits of dictation on the iPad 3, and cannot resist simply responding to posts because I can with little effort.

Have you tried dictation yet Steve, if not you really want to give it a go.

Not yet. I spent a while getting everything configured, restoring my backup, etc. Then new seeds appeared so I spent time with those. Just haven't had a chance to play with the new things.

    I can tell you're having a blast!

The "rude" part of your post is anything containing a *

Initially I thought your answer was a little curt but not necessarily excessively rude.

However, you have now proceeded to prove yourself extremely rude and additionally haven't really explained what it is that you want to find out. If you are able to control yourself and tell us exactly what it is that you want to know, we may well be able to help you.

Unfortunately as things stand you just appear to be extremely rude and simply desire to rant.

Absolutely Steve, in fact I can see my point count maybe doubling or even tripling because of this great new feature.

Have you seen an increase already?

OT: I noted you are a property agent. I suppose you know I was in the commercial real estate business here?

Yes, I've definitely seen an increase. Not only can I answer questions more quickly, but I can now speak to people the way I would speak to them, and I feel that this is probably appreciated more than the short sharp answers I used to type. I feel that both of these advantages are producing more points.

Of course, points aren't the be all and end all of things, however like yourself I do believe that they are an indication of how well you are doing and therefore are important to make sense of things. They are also of course a target to which you desire to reach and therefore in many ways keep you going.

I was unaware that you were a commercial property agent, as a result of this I assume we have very much in common. Perhaps we can help each other out in times to come.

Did I mention, dictation is awesome.

The best part about it is that you can shout at it all you want! Use the tone of voice you normally would, the iPad can take it !

Unfortunately I have found that shouting doesn't work very well with dictation. In fact, it seems necessary to be quite calm while you dictate to the iPad.

Yes, I am sure it must be a hoot (and an occasional holler.)

Uh, oh! You mentioned the one truly dirty word we are forbidden from using upon pain of death - Po**ts. Hope the mods don't notice that. They'd haul you off to the Tower.

I spent about 10 years as a commercial broker in Atlanta, GA during the 60s and 70s. However, my long term career was as a professor of real estate and finance. I earned a Ph.D. at Georgia State Univ. in Atlanta in 1980. Was a professor until 2000 when I retired. Judging from your pic with the dogs I'm a tad older than you are.

I think you probably are. However I have aged considerably since that photograph and whilst younger than you, possible look just as old as you do now.

I have few qualifications in commercial estate agency, most of the experience I have has been built up from day to day learning. I do have several qualifications as a surveyor, but most of my experience has evolved from managing the property that I have built as a constructor. The majority of the property that I manage is my own.

Points. I'm not sure it's a dirty word, at the end of the day it is a measure of how well you doing, for example it is fairly obvious to me that people like it more if I speak to them as I would speak normally. this I have only found out because of my points tally over the last 24 hours, however this cannot be a bad thing if people like it more.
