How long does it take to charge a iPad 3 from 0 %

If you visit apples li-thion battery page, it states that average charging time for the iPad is around 4-6 hours from 0-100%. I always let my iPad completely die out. Not doing any king special. Take into account that before getting a new 10w charger, my I would charge my iPad all day only to get from 0-68% which is not normal.

I'm guessing what you have running in the background, as well as if you have wifi turned on/off, or your 3G/4g connection determines how fast the new iPad will take in power as well as release.

Apple replaced the charger that came with the new iPad? All of it? Or just the 'block'? And does your new charger still get mighty warm while charging? I am VERY curious. I don't have the slow charging issue, but my charger gets VERY warm while charging and if a new one is a bit cooler, I wouldn't mind exchanging mine!

About 7 hrs and it goes back from 100 to 0 in just 2 or 3, very annoying

Yes, Apple repaced my whole charger--not just the block. It still gets warm, that's inevitable..same goes to macbook pro chargers, etc.
