We are all end users like you, not Apple representatives. Best to call the store you are buying at ahead of time, or one of the official Apple Contact numbers for Europe and ask there.

Hi! Yes, I got a refund in Amsterdam. Schiphol airport. It was not very easy.
I had to take the iMac in the luggage cause it's sizes are not allowed to bring it to cabin. So I had to ask the customs officer to make stamp before the check-in. The price of iMac was 1899 euro. I got 211 euro refund.

I forgot to tell about docs! I got my passport ant tax free form with recipt from Apple store. Check that your form is filled and signed by shop assistant. Good luck!
