Export to Powerpoint: embedded quicktime movies won't show

I've exported a keynote presentation to Powerpoint, which includes embedded Quicktime videos, but when we open it on a Windows machine the embedded Quicktime videos do not show and instead the following text is shown: "Quicktime and a Video decompressor are needed to see this picture."

Any ideas on how to get the Quicktime videos to show?

That looks to me like the QuickTime Specific Codec list. Is that ALL you can access when exporting? In some apps there's a second list, sort of a top level list. QuickTime is usually in that list, and if you choose QuickTime, you get the list you posted. Some apps ONLY post the list you posted. If you can manage to access the other list, you can choose things like AVI.

The other option is to export as QT using the Animation codec, which is near lossless. Then open that in QT Pro and export as an AVI.
